Premier Fabrics

Premier Fabrics is located in Sreeram Apartment, specifically Flat 4c on the 4th Road in Eastern Park. It is in Santoshpur, which is a busy little neighborhood. Having the business in an apartment building makes it feel a bit different than a regular shop. We have rolls of fabric leaning against the walls and swatches spread out on the dining table most days. It is a bit of a squeeze when we get a large shipment in, but we have figured out how to use every inch of space. You have to take the stairs or the small lift to get up to us. We mostly spend our time looking at textures and colors. The light in Flat 4c is actually pretty good for seeing how the fabrics really look. We started Premier Fabrics because we knew a lot about cloth and wanted to do something for ourselves. It isn't a big corporate showroom. It is just a place where we work and keep our stock. Sometimes the neighbors in the apartment block pop in to say hello. It is that kind of place. We don't really do big marketing campaigns or anything. Most of our customers are people who have known us for years. We just keep doing what we do, day after day, and try to keep the piles of fabric from falling over. It is a bit messy but it is our way of doing things in Santoshpur.
