Pragaathi Hoseries & Dresses

Our shop, Pragaathi Hoseries & Dresses, is at D111 Sundari Mohan Avenue in Kolkata. It is a well-known street and we have been operating here for a while now. We handle both hosiery items and dresses, so the shop is always full of different types of boxes and bags. Kolkata is a city that loves its clothes, and this neighborhood is no different from the rest. The shop is on the ground floor, so it is easy for people to just walk in right off the street. We get a lot of regulars who live in the apartment buildings nearby. They usually stop in for small things or when they need a new outfit for a specific event. The pace here is a bit different than the big markets; it is a little more relaxed, but still busy enough to keep us on our feet. We spend the mornings checking what we have in stock and making sure the displays look okay. It is not a perfect setup, but it works for us and our customers. The street outside can get quite noisy with the trams and buses passing by, but once you are inside, it is all about the clothes. We do not use any fancy sales tactics or anything. We just show people what we have available and let them decide. It has a family-run feel and we have seen kids grow up and start buying their own clothes here.
