We are based over in Howrah at 122/23, Jogendra Nath Mukherjee Road. Being on this side of the river has its own feel. Phunk Fashion Llp is our name and we focus on the fashion side of things. The 711101 area is pretty industrial and busy. It’s not the most glamorous street in the world but it works for us. We have a lot of space for our work here. The building is a bit older and has some character to it. We don't have a big corporate staff. It is just a few of us making sure the fashion orders get sent out on time. The traffic on Jogendra Nath Mukherjee Road can get pretty backed up in the mornings. You get used to the noise after a while. We aren't much for fancy words or big promises. We just handle the clothes and the business as it comes. It's a practical setup with plenty of room for storage and packing. Kolkata is just across the way but we like being here in Howrah. Most of our days are spent checking fabrics and talking to suppliers. It is honest work and we don't try to make it sound like more than it is.
