Perky Fashion & Creations is over at EC- 38 Deshbandhu Nagar Baguihati Baguihati. It’s a decent area to work in, though it gets a bit noisy during the day with all the local activity. Our workspace isn't anything fancy or high-tech. It’s mostly just tables for cutting fabric and a few sewing machines that have seen a lot of use. We spend our days here dealing with the latest batch of clothes and trying to keep everything organized, which is harder than it looks. There are usually scraps of cloth and thread all over the floor by the time we finish in the evening. We aren't a big factory; we’re just a small crew working in Baguihati. Most of us have lived around here for a long time, so we know the neighborhood well. We don't have any big mission statements or marketing slogans. We just show up and get the work done. The room can get a bit stuffy, but we open the windows and keep moving. Sometimes we get a rush of orders and have to work late, but that’s just how it goes in this business. We don't spend much time on advertising or making things look pretty. We just focus on the stitching and making sure the garments are right. It’s a practical, everyday sort of place where we just do what we know.
