IGT Fashion House is located at Number 10 Pemental Street. It’s an older part of the city, and the street isn't very wide, so it can be a bit of a squeeze for vehicles. We are an export company, so our building is usually full of boxes and fabric samples. We have different floors for different things, and the stairs are quite steep, which keeps us active. There’s always someone coming in with a delivery or someone leaving to drop off a shipment. Our rooms are filled with clothes hanging on racks and tables covered in measuring tapes and scissors. We don't have a shiny corporate office; it’s more of a functional space where we can work on our designs and check the quality of the garments. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy to worry about that. During the monsoon, the street outside can get a bit flooded, which makes moving the stock a real challenge. We have a small group of people working here, and we’ve all been together for a while. We drink a lot of tea and try to keep up with the deadlines. It’s a bit of a scramble sometimes, especially when a big order is due, but we manage to get it done.
