Payel Ghosh

This is where I work, right on Rajarhat Main Road at Rajarhat Enclave. Being near the Corporation Bank makes it easy for people to find me. I’ve lived and worked in this part of Kolkata for a long time, so I know the 700135 area very well. My name is Payel Ghosh and I provide tutoring and educational support from this location. It’s not a big school or a fancy center. It’s just me and the students who come over for help. The space is small but it works for what we do. I have a few tables and plenty of books. Usually, the students arrive in the late afternoon after their regular school is done. We sit down and go through whatever they found difficult that day. I don’t follow a strict corporate schedule, I just try to fit in the lessons where they are needed most. Rajarhat is growing fast, so there are always new families moving in. Many of them look for someone local to help their kids with studies. I don't do much advertising. Most people just find out about me because they live in the same enclave or nearby. It’s a very straightforward arrangement. I focus on the school syllabus and making sure the homework gets done properly. It’s a bit of a routine now, but it’s practical and it helps the kids in our community get through their exams.
