Parash Nath Shaw

Parash Nath Shaw is located on Nirmal Chandra Street. You have to look for the Kalaniketan Saree Center because we are right above it at 11-a. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, but once you’re here, it’s a quiet space to work. We’ve been in this building for quite some time now. The street outside is always noisy with cars and people moving about, but inside it stays pretty calm. We handle a lot of different things throughout the day. It’s mostly just us doing the daily tasks that keep a small business going. We aren’t a big corporation with departments or anything. If you call, one of us will just pick up the phone. The office has old windows and the light comes in nicely in the afternoons. We try to keep our paperwork organized, though it gets a bit messy when we are busy. Nirmal Chandra Street is a good location for us because it’s central. A lot of our regulars know exactly where to find the entrance next to the saree shop. We don’t have any flashy signs out front, just a small nameplate usually. We spend our time focusing on the work at hand rather than trying to impress people with fancy furniture. It works for us. We’ve grown used to the rhythm of the neighborhood over the years. It’s just how we do things here every single day and it suits our needs perfectly.
