Organic Cotton

Our place is in Anandpur, right near Jorabadi. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here, but we like the space we have for Organic Cotton. We deal with a lot of raw fabric and finished goods. The air inside always has a bit of lint floating around. We don't have air conditioning, so we rely on the big ceiling fans to keep the air moving while we work. It’s a practical setup. We have long tables for cutting and stacks of cotton cloth piled up high. The location near Jorabadi is quiet compared to the main city center. We spend our mornings checking the quality of the batches that come in. It isn't always perfect; sometimes the weave is a bit off, but that’s the nature of natural fibers. We don’t put on a big show for anyone. If you come by, you’ll see us in our work clothes, probably with threads stuck to us. We’ve been working out of this Anandpur spot for a while now. It’s where the work gets done. There isn't much of a front office, just the main work floor and a small desk where we keep the records. We focus on the material itself. It’s hard work, and our hands get calloused from handling the fabric all day, but we prefer this over sitting in a glass building. It’s just us and the cotton.
