New Paul Thread

New Paul Thread is sitting at 100 A on the Maniktala Main Road. It’s a narrow shop but it goes back quite a way. Spools of thread in every color you can think of are all over the place. Some are in boxes, others are lined up on the shelves, and some are just sitting on the counter. To be honest, it's a bit of a mess, but the specific shades are hidden where we can find them. Tailors from all over the neighborhood come here because we’ve been around so long. The dust from the cotton gets everywhere, so sneezing is a regular thing. My father started this and now I’m the one looking after things. Instead of a computer system, we have a big notebook where we write down what we sell. The door sticks a little when it’s humid, so giving it a good push is necessary. Small sales of a few reels here and there really add up over the day. Sometimes the basic black or white runs out and we have to wait for the next shipment. Being right by the bus stop means there’s always people peering in while they wait. It’s just a simple life selling thread and needles in a busy part of the city. We don't need much more than that. I think the old wooden counters have been here longer than I have.
