Reflection Garments

Reflection Garments is situated at No. 38 on the 2nd Floor of Hukum Chand House. It is not a very big place, but it works for what we do every day. The building itself has been around for quite a while, and you can see that in the hallways and the way the windows are set. Being on the second floor means we get a little bit of a breeze if the weather is right, but mostly we just have the lights on and the machines running. We spend a lot of time surrounded by fabric and thread. Sometimes the piles of clothes get a bit high on the tables, and we have to move things around just to find a pen or a notebook. It is a very hands-on environment here. The staff knows the routine well, from opening up the shutters in the morning to checking the last few items before we head home. Hukum Chand House stays pretty active throughout the day with different people coming and going. We don’t really bother with any fancy decorations or anything that isn't useful for the work. There are some old chairs and a big cutting table that has seen a lot of use over the years. It feels like a real place where people actually work hard. It is not always quiet, especially when everyone is talking at once, but we managed to get everything sorted out by the end of the shift at Reflection Garments.
