If you walk down Hazra Road towards Kalighat, you’ll find us at 7/2B. It’s a busy part of the city, always cars honking and people walking by. Narayani isn't a huge operation. It’s more of a family-run thing that’s been around for quite some time. We spend most of our mornings getting things ready before the doors open. The building is older, and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but it feels like home to us. We don't spend money on big ads or anything like that. Most people know us just by passing by or hearing about us from a neighbor. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, especially in the summer. We just keep our heads down and do the work. Sometimes we run out of things early, which can be annoying for customers, but we prefer to make what we can handle each day. It’s better that way. The street outside is always full of life, and we like being part of that energy. When the festival season comes around, the whole street gets blocked with people, and it’s a bit of a struggle to get inside, but we don't mind the noise much. We’ve grown used to it over the years. We have regulars who have been coming for years, and we know their names. It’s a simple life here on Hazra Road. No big corporate rules, just us trying to keep the place running and serving the folks who walk through the door.
