Our address is No. 23/1 Maharshi Devendra Road. This part of the city is always very busy with trucks and people moving goods around. We have been operating from this spot for quite a while now. The building is old, and the road outside is never really quiet. Inside, we have our setup for apparel work. It is more of a practical workshop than anything else. We have stacks of fabric and finished garments waiting to be moved. The floor is often covered in small pieces of cloth and thread. We don't spend a lot of time on the decor. It's a place for work, not for showing off. We are usually busy with the machines from early morning until late evening. Sometimes the noise from the street gets inside, but we don't mind it much anymore. Maharshi Devendra Road has a lot of energy. We just fit into the rhythm of the neighborhood. Most of our day is spent checking measurements and making sure the machines are running right. It’s a simple, hardworking environment. We don’t have fancy brochures. If people want to see what we do, they just come into the workspace. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we have a lot of orders, but we manage to get through it. We keep a kettle in the corner for making tea during the long shifts. That is how we keep going on Maharshi Devendra Road.
