N. J. Silk Fabric

N. J. Silk Fabric is located at 177 / B C. R. Avenue. This part of the city is always moving, and we are right in the middle of it. Our shop isn't very large, but we have a lot of silk fabrics packed into the space. When you walk in, you’ll see rolls of silk in all kinds of colors and patterns. It’s a bit overwhelming if you aren't used to it. We’ve been here on C. R. Avenue for quite a few years. It’s a simple business. We spend our time showing people the different fabrics and helping them figure out how much they need for whatever they are making. We don't have any big marketing plans or fancy websites. We just stay here and open the doors every morning. The avenue can be very loud with all the buses and cars, but inside the shop, it’s a bit more peaceful. We are just local people who know a thing or two about silk. Sometimes the dust from the street gets in, and we have to keep cleaning the counters, but that’s just part of being on a main road. We don’t have any grand claims to make. We just sell silk and try to be helpful to the people who come in. It’s a quiet life, mostly, just surrounded by fabric and the sound of the street outside. I usually get here around nine to start tidying up.
