Mrs Laha

I am located at 11/1, Durga Pichuri Lane. It's a small lane in Kolkata 700012, right near the Goenka College of Commerce. A lot of people find it a bit tricky to find the house the first time they visit, but once you are on the lane, it's actually quite easy to spot. I've been teaching here from my home setup for quite some time now. It’s not a big school or a commercial institute, just a room dedicated to my students. I mostly focus on commerce subjects since the college is right there, but I help out with other things too when I can. The house is old, which I like because it stays cool in the summer. I don't have a lot of staff, usually it's just me handling the lessons and all the scheduling. Students come by after their college classes are over for the day. It's a very lived-in space. There are books piled up on the shelves and papers everywhere on the desk. I think it feels more comfortable that way than a cold, empty classroom. Sometimes my neighbors' kids run around outside, but it’s mostly peaceful enough for us to work. People call me Mrs Laha, and they just know to come to this address when they need help with their studies. I don't do big advertisements. Most of my students come because their brothers or sisters studied with me before. It is just a simple way of helping the local neighborhood kids.
