Mohini Saree Online is located at No. 17/2/1 Kalipada Mukherjee Road. Don’t be confused by the name; while we do a lot of business online, this is the physical place where we store all our sarees and handle the day-to-day operations. It’s a regular building on a regular street. Inside, you’ll find piles of sarees everywhere. We have silks, cottons, and all sorts of other materials stacked up in every available corner. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes, especially when a new shipment arrives. We spend a lot of our time checking the quality of each piece. We look for any flaws in the weave or issues with the colors. It’s a slow process, but we think it’s necessary. We aren't a big corporate team; it’s just a few of us who have a real feel for fabrics. We don't have a fancy showroom with mannequins. It’s more of a warehouse and office combined. Kalipada Mukherjee Road is a nice area, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. Sometimes we have customers who want to come by and see the sarees in person, and we always try to make space for them. We don't use any slick sales talk. We just show them what we have and let the fabric speak for itself. It’s a straightforward business and we enjoy the hands-on nature of the work.
