Misra Brothers & Co

Misra Brothers & Co is down at Plot No 67/19 on Strand Bank Road. We’ve been at this spot for a while now, right across from Kamal Kata. The road gets pretty heavy with trucks and commercial vehicles, especially in the mornings when everyone is trying to get their loads moved. It’s not the quietest place to work, but it’s where we are. The building itself is old and has that specific smell of an industrial area, a mix of oil and old paper. Since it’s a family thing, there’s usually at least two of us around to handle whatever comes up. We don’t use any fancy systems to keep track of things, mostly just notebooks and a lot of talking to each other. The space is a bit cramped because we have a lot of stuff piled up, but we know where every single piece is. Sometimes people get lost looking for the plot number since the signs around here aren't the best, so we tell them to look for Kamal Kata first. We don't have any big signs or bright lights. It’s a practical workspace for practical people. The windows are a bit high up so we don’t get much of a view, but we are too busy to look out them anyway. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. It’s a simple way to run a business without any extra fuss or polish.
