You can find us at P-20 on Radha Bazar Street. We’re located right behind Gillander House, which is a big landmark in this part of town. Radha Bazar is a very crowded street, full of shops selling all kinds of things. It’s hard to find parking, so most people just walk or take a rickshaw to get to us. Our shop is small and filled with items from floor to ceiling. There isn’t much room to move around once a few people are inside. We’ve got some old wooden counters where we handle all the transactions. It’s a place that’s been here for a long time, and it feels like it. The walls are covered in shelves that are packed tight. We don’t have any fancy lighting or air conditioning, just the basic stuff to keep the place running. It gets pretty loud with all the noise from the street coming inside, but that’s just life in Radha Bazar. We spend the day helping people find what they need and keeping track of our stock. It’s a lot of standing and reaching for things on high shelves. Behind Gillander House is a bit quieter than the main road, but not by much. We’re just a local business doing things the old-fashioned way. No corporate nonsense, just us at our desks or behind the counter every day. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years, but P-20 stays pretty much the same for us.
