We are located at 5, Tiljala Road. If you’ve ever been to this part of Kolkata, you know it’s a very busy, crowded area with lots of small manufacturing units. Our place is no different. It’s a functional space filled with sewing machines, cutting tables, and rolls of fabric piled up against the walls. The sound of the machines is constant from morning until evening. We make different kinds of clothes, and there’s always thread and scraps of cloth on the floor. It’s a bit chaotic, but there’s a system to it. The workers are skilled and move fast, especially when we have a big order to finish. It gets quite warm in here with all the machines running, so we have fans going all the time. We don't have a showroom or a fancy office; we just have the factory floor and a small space for the paperwork. We get our tea from the stall across the road, and sometimes we sit on the steps for a few minutes to catch our breath. The neighborhood is full of energy, and we’re just one of many small businesses trying to get our work done. We handle the cutting, the stitching, and the packing right here. It’s hard work, and the days are long, but we’ve been doing this for years and it’s what we know best.
