We are over at 11 Sir Hariram Goenka Street. Metro Apprelf is just a small place where we handle clothes. It gets pretty crowded here sometimes, especially on weekends when the street is full of people walking by. We’ve been here for a while now. Most days it’s just us sorting through stock or helping people find a size that actually fits. There’s always a bit of dust because of the old building, but we try to keep things tidy. We aren't fancy or anything. If you come by, you'll see a lot of shirts and trousers piled up. The lighting isn't the best in the back, but we know where everything is. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes. We usually open up around ten, sometimes a bit later if the traffic is bad. My uncle used to run things, but now it’s more of a group effort. We don't have a big website or a social media manager. We just sell what we have and hope people like it. It's honest work. Sometimes the tea stall next door brings us some chai and we take a break. That’s about it really. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to sell decent clothes to the folks around here. If you're on Sir Hariram Goenka Street, you can't really miss the sign, even if it’s a bit faded. We just keep our heads down and try to do right by the customers who come in through the door.
