Metavogue (India)

You’ll find Metavogue (India) on Park Street. We are at 75/C, specifically in Room 2/1 on the second floor. Park Street is always full of life, but once you head up the stairs to our office, it gets a bit quieter. It’s an old building with a lot of character, the kind where the stairs creak a little. Our space isn't huge. It’s a couple of rooms where we handle the business side of things. We have stacks of files and samples of fabrics tucked into every corner. It feels more like a workshop than a corporate office. We spend our days talking to vendors and making sure the designs are being followed correctly. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of new stock coming in. We keep a kettle in the corner for constant tea. The light coming through the windows is nice in the morning. We don’t have a big marketing team or anyone in a fancy suit. It’s just us, working through the orders and making sure things get sent to the right places. Outside, the sounds of Kolkata never stop. You can hear the horns and the people talking down on the sidewalk. We’ve been here long enough that it feels like home. We just keep our heads down and focus on the day’s tasks. It’s a practical way to run a business in such a busy city.
