This office is situated at 294 B.B. Ganguly Street on the second floor. It is a busy area and the building is usually humming with activity from all the different businesses inside. We focus on exports here. That means a lot of time spent on the computer and the phone. We are right in the middle of a very commercial part of town, which makes sense for what we do. The office itself is pretty simple. We have our desks, the computers, and a lot of paper files. Since we are on the second floor, we get a bit of a break from the direct noise of the street, but you can still hear the horns honking down below. It is not a fancy corporate headquarters. It is just a place where we manage the shipping of goods to different places. We spend our mornings responding to messages from different time zones. It can get a bit hectic when a big shipment is due to leave. There are always forms to fill out and people to call at the port. We have stayed at this address because it is central and everyone knows where B.B. Ganguly Street is. We don't really have a big sign or anything. People who need us usually know how to find us. It is a practical way to run a business. We just keep our heads down and make sure the export side of things stays on track without too many hiccups or delays.
