Our company is Matiabruz Fashion (Opc) Private Limited. We operate out of V-124 on the ground floor along Akra Road. This is right in the heart of the Matiabruz area. Md Alam Khan Razvi is the name on the care-of for our address. It’s a busy part of town especially when it comes to clothes and stitching. We don't have a giant factory or anything, just this ground floor setup. The traffic on Akra Road can be something else but we are used to it by now. We spend most of our hours here handling the day-to-day fashion business tasks. It’s a lot of manual work and checking things by hand. We aren't really into big marketing plans. We just focus on the garments that come through our doors. Being an OPC means it’s a small operation, mostly just staying on top of the orders. The walls are a bit plain and we have racks everywhere. It feels like a real workshop where stuff actually gets made. People in the neighborhood know us. We don't use fancy titles or corporate talk here. We just show up and do the work. The ground floor is convenient for moving goods in and out quickly. We just try to keep things honest and keep the machines running. It’s a simple life and a simple business in a busy corner of Kolkata.
