Mapij Garments

Mapij Garments is located over at No. 246 Bangu Revenue Block- B. We mostly spend our time dealing with different fabrics and our old sewing machines. It gets pretty loud in the shop when everyone is working at once. Boxes of thread and piles of cloth are everywhere most days. We make different kinds of clothes, basically whatever the current orders are. Some days are spent just cutting out patterns and making sure the sizes are exactly right. It’s a busy place. We aren't a big factory or anything like that. Just a local spot where we get things done. The address is a bit tucked away, but we’ve been here long enough that people find us. Sometimes we have a lot of scrap material left over. We try to keep things tidy but it’s hard when you’re busy with a big batch of shirts or pants. We started this because we knew how to sew and handle the garment business. It's honest work for us. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to fix them ourselves. We don't have a receptionist or anything. If you come by, you’ll probably see someone actually working on a garment. That's just how we run things. No fancy lobby or coffee machine. Just work and clothes. We’ve been in Bangu for a good while now and we know the neighbors. We just keep our heads down and finish the day's sewing.
