If you find yourself on New Ballygunj Road, look for the Mrinalini Apartment building. We are located in Block A on the second floor. Kolkata is a massive place, and Ballygunj is one of those areas that always feels alive with energy. I have lived around here for a long time, so setting up at 46 New Ballygunj Road made the most sense for me. The apartment isn't just a place to live; it is where I manage all my professional work too. It is a bit of a juggle, keeping the living space and the workspace separate, but I have managed to make it work so far. The building is solid, one of those older Kolkata constructions that stays relatively cool even when the sun is beating down in May. I spend my days coordinating things, usually with a cup of tea sitting nearby on the desk. My workspace is usually covered in handwritten notes and little reminders stuck to the wall. I don’t like having a sterile, perfect office because it doesn't feel like home. It feels more natural when there is a bit of life visible around the room. Sometimes you can hear the street vendors shouting outside or the cars honking, but that is just part of being in Kolkata. Most of the people I work with are from the neighborhood or are friends of friends. Word of mouth is how I get most things done.
