You can find us at Mollar Gate in Maheshtala, right on the B. B. T. Road. We are directly opposite the Kashturi Apartment building, which makes it easy to explain our location to people. The road is always busy with cars and buses going back and forth, so there is never a quiet moment outside. Inside our shop, we spend our time working on various fashion pieces. It's mostly sewing and checking fabrics all day long. We don't have a huge staff, just a few of us who have been doing this for quite some time. The space is a bit cramped with all the rolls of cloth and the machines, but we manage to find our way around. We aren't trying to be some big global brand; we just want to make decent clothes for the people who need them. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait a bit, but we usually find other things to do in the meantime. It’s a practical way to live. We see the same faces walking by every day and we've become part of the local scene here. It’s not a polished environment, just a working one where things get made and sent out. We don’t use any big words to describe what we do because it’s just sewing at the end of the day. We just try to finish what we started.
