You can find our place at 4 Black Burn Lane. It is right in the thick of things in the 700012 area of Kolkata. This part of the city is always crowded and there is always some kind of noise happening right outside our door. Our workshop is a bit of a sanctuary from the chaos of the street. Inside, it usually smells like fresh fabric and machine oil. We have been at this specific location for a long while. The building has seen better days, but it is sturdy and serves our purpose for making clothes. We have a few rooms dedicated to different stages of the process. One room is strictly for cutting the patterns, while another is for the actual sewing. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls here. It is just calendars and maybe a few photos of family. We aren't trying to impress anyone with how the place looks. We just want to get the work done right and on time. The street outside is very narrow, so getting our supplies in can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We have to time the deliveries just right so we don't block the way. People stop by all the time asking for different things. We don't do any marketing because we don't really have the extra time for it. We are usually too busy with the needles and thread. It is a straightforward business.
