Looker

Looker is over at Ca-52 in Sector-1 of Salt Lake. We’re positioned near the CA Island and not too far from City Centre 1 mall. It’s a busy spot, especially on the weekends when everyone is heading to the mall. Our shop is pretty basic, but we have everything we need to get the job done. We’ve got the standard salon chairs and a few benches for people to wait on. Sometimes people come in just to get out of the sun for a bit while they wait for a friend. We don't mind. We’ve been here long enough that the local shopkeepers all know us. We get our tea from the same guy every afternoon. The work is steady. We handle all sorts of hair and skin requests. Some days it’s just one person after another, and other days it’s slow enough that we can sit and read the paper. We don’t have a big corporate team or fancy uniforms. It’s just us in our regular clothes, doing our best for the people who walk through the door. The floor tiles are a bit old, and the door squeaks sometimes, but it’s a comfortable place. We like being in this part of Salt Lake because there’s always something happening outside the window. It’s just a normal, everyday Kolkata business where we try to do decent work.
