If you walk down Linton Street to number 200, you’ll find us. We’ve been at Interact Texlabels Pvt. Ltd. for a good number of years now. The business is all about the small things, specifically the labels that go into clothes. It’s funny how much work goes into something most people just cut off and throw away. The machines we use have a specific hum that fills the building from morning until we lock up. There is always a faint smell of ink and heat in the air. We spend a lot of time hunched over tables checking that the text is clear and the colors aren't running. It’s a lot of repetitive movement, but we’ve got a good group of people who make the day go by faster. We usually have the radio playing in the background to drown out the sound of the street traffic. Sometimes the supply of tape or plastic wrap runs low and someone has to run out and grab more. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. When you walk in, you’re pretty much right in the middle of where the work happens. It’s a bit cramped with all the rolls of material stacked against the walls, but it works for us. We just focus on getting the orders counted correctly and boxed up before the evening courier arrives at the door. It's a steady pace most weeks.
