Le Leon Garments Private Limited is tucked away on the second floor of a building at 22/H/12 Linton Street in Kolkata. If you’re looking for us, you have to head up the stairs past the first floor, and that's where we are. It’s 700014, so we’re right in the middle of things. The space is mostly filled with fabric and people working on different garment pieces. It’s not a very quiet area, especially with the city sounds drifting in from the street below. We keep the fans running all day because it gets quite stuffy in the afternoons. Sometimes things get a bit messy with scraps of thread on the floor, but we try to keep it organized enough to find what we need. It’s just a standard workspace where we handle our garment business. There’s no big reception area or shiny signs. Most people who come here are just delivery guys or people we’ve known for years. We usually have some tea around four o'clock while we talk about what needs to be finished by evening. It’s a pretty simple setup. Being on Linton Street means there’s always something going on outside, but we just stay focused on the work inside Le Leon Garments. It’s a regular job for us, and we don't try to make it sound like more than it is. We just make the clothes and get them where they need to go. We've been here a while and it feels like home.
