We are located at 12 Dent Mission Road in the Khidirpur area. This part of the city has so much history, and you can see it in the old buildings and the narrow streets that wind around the neighborhood. Our place is in one of those older structures. It has high ceilings and thick walls, which actually keeps it surprisingly cool even when the sun is beating down outside. Rys Fashion isn't a big operation; it’s just a handful of us working in a couple of rooms. We have wooden cupboards that are probably older than I am, but they hold our supplies just fine. The street outside is usually a mess of rickshaws and delivery vans, so there’s always someone shouting or a horn honking. It’s a lively place to be, that’s for sure. We don’t have a big sign out front, just a small one near the entrance. Most of the people who come here know us already. Inside, there are piles of different fabrics and threads scattered on the workbenches. We try to keep things tidy, but when you’re busy, the clutter just sort of happens. We take our breaks on the balcony sometimes just to watch the people go by on the road below. It’s an honest place to work, and we’ve been here long enough that the neighbors all know our names and stop to chat.
