Mrigank Apparel is right at 100h Karl Marx Sarani in the Khidirpur area. It’s a part of town that never really seems to go to sleep, with all the noise from the street and the people moving about. Our building is tucked in there among many others, and inside it’s mostly just rows of tables and stacks of finished goods waiting to go out. The air smells like fresh cotton and sometimes the grease from the sewing machines. We have a small group of people who have been with us for years, so they know exactly what to do without anyone having to tell them much. Khidirpur can be a bit of a maze if you are new to it, but once you find 100h, you’ll see the activity going on. We work long hours when there is a big order to finish, and the tea guy comes around twice a day which is usually the highlight of the afternoon. There isn't any big sign out front or anything like that, just the address and the work happening inside. We don’t spend much time making the place look pretty for visitors because we are too busy actually making things. The floors are concrete and the lights are bright, which is exactly what you need when you are trying to see small stitches all day long.
