Kheya Collections

Kheya Collections is tucked away in Ballygunge Place, inside Sati Apartment. We are on the ground floor, specifically Flat No. 2-A. It’s a very residential area, so it doesn’t really feel like you’re going to a typical office when you visit us. The building is House No. 46/7-B, and it’s got that old Kolkata charm to it. We’ve set up our space to hold all our stock and a couple of tables for packing things up. It’s often a bit crowded with boxes and fabrics, but we managed to find a system that works. The neighbors are mostly families, so we try to keep the noise down, especially in the afternoons. There’s a small garden area near the entrance that makes the place feel a bit more relaxed. We spend a lot of time checking through our collections and making sure everything is where it should be. It’s a hands-on kind of job. Sometimes we lose track of time because the apartment is so quiet. We don't have a big neon sign outside or anything like that. People usually find us by word of mouth or by looking for the house number. Working from an apartment means we have a small kitchen where we make coffee and share lunch. It’s a very informal environment. We are just a few people who enjoy what we do and like being in this neighborhood. It’s a cozy, busy little spot that feels more like home than work. (257 words)
