Khazana Creation

Down at 3/1 Marquis Lane, things are usually moving pretty fast. Being here in West Bengal, specifically in this part of town, means there is always something going on right outside our door. Khazana Creation is tucked away here, and we’ve made this space our own over the years. It’s not a huge place, but we have enough room to manage what we do. We mostly deal with fabrics and designs, so there are always piles of materials sitting around and people sketching or measuring things. It gets a little messy sometimes, especially when we are in the middle of a big project. You might find a bit of thread on the floor or some scrap paper, but that’s just the reality of making things. We don’t go in for those fancy office decorations. Our walls are mostly covered with notes and calendars to keep us on track. The team here is small, mostly locals who have been with us for a bit. We drink a lot of tea and try to get through the daily list of chores. Marquis Lane has its own character, a bit crowded and loud, but it suits us. We aren't trying to be the biggest name out there; we just want to make sure the stuff we send out is decent and that our customers aren't left waiting. It’s a simple life here at the shop, working with our hands and keeping things moving. We just take it day by day.
