Khadi Karyalaya

You can find Khadi Karyalaya at A-49 in the VIP Park area. Specifically, we are situated inside the Gharana Apartment building. P.O. Prafulla Kanan is the local post office for us. It is a relatively quiet residential spot in Kolkata 700101. We have been operating from here for a good while. Amber Upadhyay is the one who is usually here handling the day-to-day stuff. It is not like a regular shop with big glass windows on the street. It is more of a tucked-away place where we keep our supplies and do our regular work. West Bengal is a fine place to be, and we like this specific part of Kolkata. The neighborhood is mostly friendly and quiet. We do not have a huge staff, just a couple of people who help out with the tasks. We spend most of our mornings sorting through things and then the afternoons are usually for doing paperwork. It can get a little bit cramped with all the stock we have, but we manage to find space for everything eventually. We are not trying to be some giant company or anything. We just like what we do and how we do it. The apartment building is quite well-known around here, so most people do not have much trouble finding us if they need to visit. Sometimes we have tea together in the late afternoon when things slow down. It is a simple enough life for us.
