We spend most of our days here at Plot No.57/3M on N.S.C Bose Road. It gets pretty loud outside with the traffic, especially in the afternoons when the sun is hitting the front of the building. Most of us have been coming here for years now, so we know all the shortcuts through the side streets. The space inside isn’t huge, but it fits everything Karukala Fashion needs to keep moving. Sometimes the fans don’t feel like they’re doing much when it’s humid, but we just get on with things. There’s a lot of inventory piled up in the back corners, and we’re always shuffling boxes around to make room for more. People walk by on Bose Road all day long, and sometimes they peek in through the door just to see what’s going on. We don’t have any fancy signs or anything like that. It’s just a practical place where we work. My desk is right near the window, so I see the same tea seller pass by every morning at ten. It’s a busy part of the city, and being at this specific plot makes us feel like we’re right in the middle of it all. We’ve grown used to the dust and the noise. Every morning starts the same way: unlocking the gate, checking the lights, and getting the first batch of work ready. It’s not a glamorous setup, just a regular workplace where we spend our hours together.
