Om Sai Fashion

You can find us at No. 10/1/1 C Kalakar Street, right across from the Kalakar Street Post Office. It’s a very crowded area and there is always someone shouting or a horn honking outside the window. Our shop, Om Sai Fashion, is packed with clothes from floor to ceiling. We spend a lot of our morning just folding things that got messed up the day before. Dealing with the stock is a never-ending job because new bundles arrive every couple of days. We have to haul them in from the street and find a place to put them without blocking the door. The post office across the way is a good landmark because otherwise, people might miss our entrance in the middle of all the other shops. It’s a small space, so we have to be smart about how we hang the shirts and dresses. Most of our day is spent talking to customers and helping them find their size in the stacks. It gets dusty with all the fabric around, so we are always dusting off the counters. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us working the floor, handling the cash, and making sure the inventory is somewhat organized. Sometimes we have a cup of tea while waiting for the next rush of people. It’s a basic clothing business in a busy part of the city.
