J. Hind

Our address is 12/2 in Ward Ganj, which is part of the Khidderpore area. Khidderpore is a very busy and crowded part of the city, and Ward Ganj is no different. You’ve got all kinds of businesses and houses packed together. J. Hind is located in a building that has been around for a long time. It’s a bit of a walk through some narrow lanes to get to us. The street noise is constant, with horns honking and people shouting, but after a while, you just stop noticing it. Our space is on the ground floor, which makes it easier to move things in and out. It’s not a very large room, so we have to be careful about where we put everything. We have some old wooden benches and a heavy metal desk. The lighting isn't the best, so we use a couple of extra lamps when we are working late. Khidderpore has a lot of history, and you can feel it in the old architecture around Ward Ganj. We don't have a big sign out front, just the name J. Hind painted near the door. Most of our neighbors are also running small businesses or workshops. It is a tough environment but there is a lot of energy in the air. We just focus on getting through the day’s work and keeping things moving. It’s a humble spot but it belongs to us.
