Ishu Singhania

I’m Ishu Singhania and my office is at Cd - 73 in Salt Lake. If you know the area, it’s a pretty quiet block compared to the main roads. I moved into this spot because I liked the trees around here. It’s a residential building mostly, so it doesn't feel like those big glass boxes you see in the newer parts of town. My desk sits near the window looking out at the street. Sometimes I watch the neighbors walking their dogs or the kids heading to school. Salt Lake has a specific feel to it, very planned out but also very lived-in now. The address is 700064 if you’re looking it up. Inside, things are fairly basic. I’ve got my computer, a printer that jams occasionally, and plenty of notebooks. I prefer writing things down by hand when I can. The walls are painted a simple off-white, and I have a few plants that I try to keep alive, though I forget to water them some weeks. It gets a bit humid in the monsoon, but we have a decent fan. People stop by now and then, usually someone from the neighborhood or a delivery person. There isn't a lot of fuss here. It's just a regular space where I get things done. I’ve spent many hours in this room, mostly just keeping track of everything that needs doing. It feels like home to me after all this time.
