No. 2- A Rajani Mukherjee Road is where you will find us most days of the week. At Indus Dream Fashions Pvt. Ltd., we aren't really about the big flashy showrooms. Our place is more about the grit and the daily grind of the fashion world. The road outside is typical for this part of town, always something happening, someone shouting, or a rickshaw bell ringing. Inside our building, things are a bit more focused. We have rows of machines and big tables for cutting fabric. The walls have some old posters and maybe a calendar that’s a month behind. We don't mind that stuff. We are more concerned with the actual garments we are making. The team here is like a small family. We eat our lunch together and argue about the best way to stitch a difficult seam. It gets pretty warm in the afternoons, but we just keep the fans going and stay on task. We don’t use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just make clothes. Some days are long, especially when we have a big deadline, and we might stay late into the evening. You can see the lights of Rajani Mukherjee Road from our windows as the city settles down. It’s just a regular workplace where people put in their hours and try to do a decent job with the materials we have. It’s been our home base for a good while now and we like it here.
