India Hosiery & Allied Industries

Our business, India Hosiery & Allied Industries, is tucked away on Haromohan Ghosh Lane. We are at number 25/1, near the K. G. Bose Sarani post office. It’s an older part of the city, and the streets are quite narrow. We’ve been here for a long time. The building shows its age, but it’s sturdy and fits what we need. We handle hosiery and related items, which involves a lot of sorting and packing. The rooms are filled with boxes and the hum of a few old machines. We aren't interested in being a big corporate entity. We just like doing our work and keeping our regular customers happy. The lane can get quite congested with delivery carts, so we have to coordinate our timings. The staff is mostly people from the neighborhood who have worked here for years. We don't have any fancy brochures or a PR team. We just answer the phone, take the orders, and get the goods ready for pickup. It's a routine that hasn't changed much in decades. We focus on the practical side of things. If you come by, you’ll probably find us mid-task. It’s a busy life, but it’s ours. We just keep the wheels turning day after day without much fuss or bother. It is what it is, and we like it that way.
