Hot Point Garments

I've been here at X-4 Akra Road for a good while now. The shop isn't anything fancy, just a spot where we get the work done every day. Most mornings start with me pulling up the metal shutter and sweeping the front step because the dust on Akra Road never seems to settle. It’s a busy street, lots of cars and bikes going past all the time. Inside, we have stacks of garments waiting to be sorted or sent out. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded with all the boxes, but we manage to find what we need. It’s mostly just us working through the piles, making sure things are where they belong. The lighting isn't the brightest, but it works for what we do. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years, though the noise remains pretty much the same. People pop in and out, mostly locals who know the area well. There is a tea stall nearby that we go to when things get a bit slow in the afternoon. It's just a regular business, nothing more. We don't spend much time decorating or making it look like a showroom because the real work happens at the back tables. When the sun goes down, we pack things up and get ready to do it all again the next day. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy enough throughout the week. Sometimes the fans rattle a bit too much in the heat.
