Hore Cottage Industries is tucked away in A Block of Lake Town. We’ve been operating out of 160 Lake Town for quite some time. It’s a busy area with a lot of houses and small businesses nearby. We do a lot of traditional work here, the kind of stuff you’d expect from a cottage industry. It’s not a fancy glass building or anything like that. It’s more of a practical workspace where things actually get made. Our days usually start early with the sounds of the neighborhood waking up. There’s always a bit of a clutter in the office because we have samples and paperwork everywhere. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy slogans. It’s just us, working on our orders and making sure the quality is what it should be. People around Lake Town know where to find us if they need something specific. Sometimes the rain makes the street a bit messy, but we keep the operations going inside regardless. We’ve stayed in this location because it’s where we started and it works for us. The staff is mostly local people who’ve been with us for years. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do our work well and keep the business running smoothly from our spot in the A Block. We try to be helpful to anyone who calls or visits.
