We are based on the ground floor of a building on Khanpur Road. It’s in the Naktala area of Kolkata, which is a fairly quiet part of town compared to the center. Our name is a bit long, but we mostly focus on things related to Orissa. It started as a small idea and we just ended up setting up shop here. The space isn't very big, just a regular ground floor room where we keep our stock and handle the day-to-day things. We spend a lot of time talking to people about what we have. Sometimes the place gets a bit cluttered with boxes and items, but we try to keep it organized enough to find things. We don't have a big team or anything, just a couple of us who are here most days. The neighborhood knows us as the folks who work out of the Khanpur Road office. We don't really have a big storefront with glass windows. It's more of a practical workspace. We get stuff from Orissa and then figure out where it needs to go from here. It’s a slow process sometimes, especially with transport and all that. We just do our work and go home. There’s no big secret to how we run things. We just show up and get on with it, day after day. It keeps us busy and that's fine by us because it means things are moving forward.
