Indra Mahal

You can find Indra Mahal at 10, Jawaharlal Nehru Road in Dharmatala. This is a very old and famous part of town, and we have been here for a long time. The building has some history to it, and you can feel it when you walk in. It’s not like those modern glass buildings you see everywhere now. We have high ceilings and the kind of atmosphere that only comes with age. Being on JN Road means there is a constant stream of people walking past our doors from morning until night. It is a very busy street with buses, taxis, and shoppers everywhere. We try to keep things running smoothly despite the chaos outside. Our staff has been here for years and they know the place inside out. We don't go for any of that modern corporate style. We prefer to keep things the way they have always been. It’s a place where you can come in and feel like time has slowed down a little bit. We do our best to maintain the place, but it's an old building so it has its quirks, like the occasional leaky pipe or a creaky floorboard. We just focus on our daily routine and making sure the people who come in are looked after. It is a simple way of doing things, but it has worked for us for a long time. We spend a lot of time dusting and keeping the old furniture looking decent.
