Our little spot is at No. 20-15 on Ramkrishna Sarani. If you’ve walked down Ramkrishna Sarani, you might have passed us without thinking much about it. Hindusthan Cottage Crafts is tucked away here, and it's where we spend most of our hours. The street is quite narrow in places, and it has that classic neighborhood feel. We handle various crafts here, so the place is usually filled with bits and pieces of materials. It isn't a polished gallery; it’s more of a workspace where things actually happen. There is often dust from the wood or fabric scraps on the floor, but we like it that way. It shows we are actually doing something. The building at 20-15 is older, with its own quirks and odd corners. We don't have a big marketing budget or a team of people in suits. It’s just a few of us who know how to make things. We have been on Ramkrishna Sarani for a long time, and we know the rhythms of the street, like when the tea stall gets busy or when the sun hits the front door just right. We don't make any grand claims. We just make crafts and hope people find something they like when they stop by. It’s a simple life, really. Working with your hands in a quiet corner of the city has its own kind of peace. We just keep our heads down and get on with the daily tasks.
