Hillkart Fashions is located at 73 Rahim Ostagar Road in Kolkata. It's a busy part of town, which keeps us on our toes. We have been working out of this spot for a good while. West Bengal has a lot of history with clothes, and we’re just a small part of that. Our building is easy to spot once you get on the right street. We deal with all sorts of fashion pieces. It's mostly a lot of cutting and stitching going on throughout the day. The tea stall nearby is where we usually take our breaks. It's not a shiny corporate office, just a workspace that smells like fabric and old wood. We don't have a big marketing department. It’s just us making sure the quality is decent before anything leaves the door. Sometimes the traffic on Rahim Ostagar Road makes deliveries a bit of a headache. That's just part of being in Kolkata though. We try to keep things organized, but on busy weeks, things get a little cluttered. We enjoy the work, even when it’s hot in the summer. We’ve got a handful of people who have been with us since the start. It's more of a family feel than a regular company. We just keep doing what we do every day.
