Gupta Bhander

Our shop sits right on Shy Nagar Road in Kolkata, not too far from Diamond City. The street gets busy, especially in the mornings when everyone's out for their usual groceries. It’s been a while since we opened the shutters here at Gupta Bhander. We keep the shelves stocked with the basics—rice, pulses, oils, and the stuff you need for a kitchen in a typical Kolkata home. It's not a big fancy place, just a regular store where you can walk in, grab what you need, and have a quick chat while we weigh things out. Sometimes the tea stall next door is louder than us, but that's just how the neighborhood is. We don't try to do anything too complicated. If you're coming from the Diamond City side, it's an easy stop. We manage things ourselves, mostly keeping an eye on what people in the area are asking for. It gets a bit crowded on weekends, but we try to keep moving so nobody's waiting too long. People know us by name, and we know most of them too. It’s just a simple business running day to day. We don’t have fancy signs or anything, just the usual boards. If you need something for dinner or just ran out of sugar, we're usually here behind the counter. The fan inside doesn't always reach the back corner, so it gets warm, but we don't mind much as long as the work gets done.
