The shop is in a residential sort of area, so we see a lot of the same faces every day. We have been here at Pragati Park for quite a while. The shop is small and filled with rolls of fabric and stacks of clothes. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who manage everything from cleaning to sales. We spend a lot of time measuring out fabric for people who want to get their own clothes stitched. It is a quiet kind of work, but we stay busy. Badamtala is a nice neighborhood, and we like being part of the community here. We aren't trying to be a big brand or anything like that. We just want to provide what the local people need for their daily wear. Sometimes the shop feels a bit cramped because we have so much stuff, but we know where everything is.
