Gulabchand Lalchand

Gulabchand Lalchand is situated at 221/A, Bipin Behari Ganguly St. This is right in the heart of the Bowbazar area. If you’ve ever walked down Bipin Behari Ganguly St, you know how packed and lively it is. Our building is one of many on this historic street. The space we work in is quite old and has high ceilings. We’ve been here for years, and the place has a lot of memories. There’s a constant sound of trams and traffic from outside. Inside, we keep busy with our daily trading and accounts. Bowbazar is famous for its markets, and we are right in the middle of all that commerce. Our office is simple, filled with old wooden furniture and stacks of paper. It’s not a modern corporate office by any means. We do things the traditional way here. People walk in off the street to talk to us, and we usually have a lot of regular visitors. The atmosphere is very local. We know the other shop owners and the people who work in the nearby buildings. It gets very hot in the summer, but we have our fans running all day. Managing the business from such a busy street takes a bit of patience, but we enjoy the energy of Bowbazar. It’s just our way of life at 221/A, and we don't plan on moving anywhere else for the time being.
