Goodmens

Goodmens is a small place located at 9/4 Radha Nath Mullick Lane in Bowbazar. It’s tucked away in a narrow lane, far from the main road’s noise. Bowbazar is full of history and old buildings, and our shop is right in the middle of all that. The lane itself is quite thin, so you won't see any big cars or trucks coming through here. We’ve been in this spot for a very long time, and the building shows its age, but it’s sturdy. Inside, it’s mostly just us and the items we have for sale. We don't have any big displays or modern lighting. We use simple bulbs and keep the windows open for light. Most of the people who come to see us are people who have heard about us from someone else. We don't do any advertising at all. We just sit at our old wooden desk and wait for the day to unfold. Sometimes it’s very quiet, and we just listen to the sounds of the neighborhood. Other times, we are busy moving things around to make space for a new order. It’s a slow and steady kind of work. We don't have any interest in being a big, famous company. We just want to keep doing what we've been doing in Bowbazar for all these years. It’s a comfortable life, and we know the people on this lane like they are family.
